Kitchens and bathrooms can either make or break a home. Tony Tucker of Dimax was recommended to us by close friends. We gave Tony our plans. He spent time with us showing us different systems, draw layouts, draw runners, softclose options and managed to make it all not too confusing. His price was competitive, and he was one of the few contractors that was ready on time. His finished workmanship was excellent.
Tony has since built American Oak custom shelving for our lounge. They are a feature in the house we now really enjoy.
Tony also built us some bunks. As usual, he delivered and installed them on time five days before Christmas. They were a work of art, with sprayed paint work and polished American Oak, but the bunks were 100mm too short for the mattresses. When you are building a new house “challenges” and the “unexpected” are not difficult to find. They usually arrive together.
I rang Tony and gave him the news. With just four days before Xmas and everybody wanting their jobs finished. Tony came, dismantled and rebuilt and sprayed painted the bunks in four days so we could have our guests. There wasn’t even a discussion about whether I gave him the wrong measurements and there was no additional bill.
In my experience they don’t come more professional than Tony Tucker. I thoroughly recommend Tony at Dimax and will be using him when I need work in the future.
